FAQs

SIP Panels versatility allows seamless integration with various modern construction techniques, including brick and block, as well as timber framing. Additionally, we offer the option to pre-manufacture window reveals for convenient on-site delivery.

Our SIP Panels employ top-tier carbon-treated EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) as the insulating material. Achieving a BRE Green Guide rating of A+ (considering the entire lifecycle impact), EPS is a widely adopted construction industry insulator. Comprising 98% air, EPS is fully recyclable and can deliver excellent R-Values for your project.

As SIP Panels are premanufactured, they do necessitate a slightly extended lead time, typically averaging between 8 to 10 weeks. For accurate planning, we suggest reaching out for a quote before initiating on-site work

SIP homes offer a significantly faster construction timeline compared to traditional framing methods. With a proficient Structural Insulated Panels (SIP Panels) installation team, framing time can be reduced by up to 55% compared to conventional timber framing, and even more when compared to traditional brick and block construction.

SIPs homes offer complete insulation and outstanding energy efficiency, easily attaining Passivhaus status. Thanks to the enduring nature of SIPs, insulation remains consistent over time, ensuring an even and lasting insulation performance.

When SIPs panels are employed in the roof, the absence of trusses enables the conversion of attic space into living areas with the addition of dormers, offering families the opportunity to expand their living space at a minimal extra cost over time.

Our SIPs are highly compatible with tight sites, featuring dimensions of up to a maximum of 7.32m in length and 2.44m in width

Absolutely. SIPs adhere to the same specifications as any other construction method, undergoing comprehensive fire testing as part of our third-party accreditation. Independent tests conducted in real-life scenarios demonstrated that SIPs exceeded expectations in terms of fire safety.

When maintained in a wind and watertight condition, SIPs panels can endure for the entire lifespan of the building. Unlike polyurethane, EPS exhibits no degradation or deterioration over time, potentially offering a longer lifespan than conventional building methods.
